Saw a couple people say "just go vegan" and "just cook your food properly" to reports about FDA shutdowns. This story about e. coli in romaine lettuce was published two days ago. Safety regulations benefit EVERYONE and you can't diet your way around it.

remember, stranger danger as a concept was introduced shortly after some 70s studies came out and determined nearly all child abuse was from adults close to the family. it was literally a nationwide "fuck no that can't be right"
