Well, it seems that 2024 has made it it's duty to remind me of how old I've gotten. I'm realizing that all the people in my life I used to think of as "my kids"? They're not kids anymore. They're now in their 30s, even 40s. And they're taking care of me now, whence once I was taking care of them

Well, Happy New Year to me. Got woken up at two am to treat an overdose. When I got there, they had given him Narcan, and he was displaying all the symptoms of acute heroin withdrawl. Just had to keep him calm until the paramedics arrived. My advice? Have a backround in healthcare? Don't tell anyone

Another difficult read. The sins of former administrations will continue to haunt us for centuries, although this one is far worse than even Reagonomics.

OK, folks, I need a bit of advice. An app keeps opening up a new window in my browser when I'm online, like, every 30 seconds or so. This is new to me. Anyone know how I can stop them?

OK, I've got a weird one, but I think people need to know, and keep an eye on their financial accounts. A few weeks ago, someone deposited $1000 dollars in my checking account. Then, they immediately withdrew it, sending it to an account spoofing my realty companies' online payment service.

Ok,making dinner for the whole neighborhood tonight. Falynn's taquitos and Mexican drunken bean. When I was growing up, we always fef the littles first, got their asses to bed, and then the adults could relax and enjoy dinner together. Is it still that way or are things different now?

OK, today has been...complex. To say the least. Trying to help a fellow veteran, whom I've never met IRL. I had to make many phone calls, and jump through many hoops. So far, I feel like I did some good. Calling this day a win.

It feels weird to realize Google is 25 years old. It feels like it's just something that's always been there, like libraries. For some reason, this makes me feel ancient.

Today's biscuits and gravy. The biscuit recipe is a modified version of Ruth's Mile High Biscuits, on All Recipes, made with White Lilly Flour, recommended by Stacy Koster. This batch came out especially good, if I do say so myself
