We were wrong. The Senate revision of the bloated budget bill raises the national debt $4.2 trillion, not 3.4 trillion. 12 million people will be thrown off insurance, not 11 million. Some Senators are demanding even more. We are going in the wrong direction! Stop this madness. @lwvus.bsky.social

At some point we're going to have to stop asking "when is (insert name) going to step up and say he's gone to far" and realize that maybe they are ok with the president's actions. We must realize that no one is going to swoop in and "save" us, it has to be us... we the people.
