so far jj is nice. with jj its like youre "inside" the repo making changes directly instead of with git you're "outside" telling git what to change
jj doesnt seem to do much i cant already easily do in git (one command in git translates to one command in jj and vice versa) but it feels smoother

clarity: i don't mean this in the prescriptivist sense, but the modern approach to labels frustrates me sometimes as it often feels deeply disrespectful and disconnected from the literal generations of people who fought for many of these concepts to even be linguistically legible as categories.
does anyone when gender and sexuality labels will become useful metadata that convey some semblance of shared meaning for the purpose of mutual understanding again, or are we doomed to the death of language? asking for a friend
