It’s impossible to have a strategy when dealing with racists, grifters, conspiracy theorists and troublemakers - they are unreasonable people and therefore beyond reason.

The speedier response from Merseyside Police outlining the profile of the arrested Liverpool driver does not appear to have dispelled the conspiracists on Twitter.
Alas there seems to be no good strategy for countering disinformation in an age when social media takes no responsibility for content.

With high temperatures forecast this week, please take care of your gingers. Keep them indoors during the day, only letting them out after sunset. Cover them with a damp towel if the temperature indoors becomes uncomfortable. If you have access to a cave all the better.
