This is what the Taoiseach and a chorus of supporters inside and outside Government mean when they talk about 'removing red tape' and 'unblocking the planning system'.
The State, uniquely, is in a position to react differently. Instead of making better decisions, they just decide they'll make it too hard to sue them, and then they carry on breaking the law exactly the way they were beforehand.

Always nice to see our work picked up and amplified by other, bigger media. These survey results have been on RTÉ radio, Newstalk, FM104, and others are planning to cover it too.
There's been a great deal of debate about how safe Dublin city centre is, but when we @dublininquirer.com looked for data to resolve this, we couldn't find much useful – so we commissioned a survey to try to add some facts/data to the debate. Today we've published five articles about the results. 1/

For those in any doubt, the ongoing nitrates derogation debate is not about the science on water quality, it's political wrangling, with our rivers, lakes and seas caught in the crossfire.

Our waterways deserve better- one can't drink politics.

Bird flu is being painted as a problem wild birds are inflicting on the poultry industry, but it's precisely the reverse.

Where do they think it developed in the first place, if not in the disease incubators that are mass battery farms?

As the mighty @suzybie.bsky.social said last night, contact your public /FF/FG/SF representatives TODAY and tell them that this or any pivot to racism will cost them your vote and the votes of your family and friends.
That is the only thing they understand.
Use your voice.

Tomorrow call your FF and FG public reps and SF for that matter (because Matt Carthy et all are doing the same shit) and tell them not in your name.
