Quickly wrote this up because it's living rent free in my head. $45 billion for detention centers, $31 billion for ICE personnel, $12 billion for CBP, the congressional GOP has shown they're not just going to passively let Trump do unpopular things, they're all in.

This explains an until-now unresolved mystery in Mr. Abrego Garcia's case. When his lawyers in 2019 went to interview the detective who claimed a "confidential informant" accused him of being in MS-13, they found out he was suspended.
Now we know why. And it's pretty bad. The guy was a dirty cop.
