💯👇 I tell students this all the time.

We. Need. All. The. Things.

Write what you want about climate change and mass extinction. Whatever moves you. Climate art should be varied and serve many roles. We do not need to gatekeep it.
I often see discussion about the "right" way to include climate themes in fiction. Advice includes:
- Don't scare people TOO much
- Focus on solutions
- Characters have agency
- Include local issues people can tackle personally
- Hopeful ending IS A MUST

My not very controversial opinion is...

Ongeveer 11.000 statushouders krijgen jaarlijks voorrang op een huurwoning en ongeveer 100.000 tot 200.000 expats krijgen voorrang op een huurwoning dankzij de expatregeling, die het leven in de grote steden volstrekt onbetaalbaar heeft gemaakt, maar daar hoor je onze Volendamse nepregent niet over.
