Last week, 15 amazing students gathered in Stavanger for a PhD course on energy humanities.
It was an inspiring week during which we visited a wind farm and the students produced this wonderful catalogue filled with personal reflections on encounters with energy in its various ways and meanings.

ROOTS is an interdisciplinary humanities project that addresses the issue of forest heritage across the Nordic nations and seeks to build sustainable forest heritage futures.

We decorated the Greenhouse Christmas tree at our weekly open lunch today. It’s a plastic tree, to signify our deep entanglements with petroculture in the Anthropocene. Also, it was really cheap at the IKEA January sale a few years ago.
