The more I hear Chris Lattner talking about Mojo and its roadmap, the more I want to try it, even though I don't enjoy writing Python and am probably not the main target audience. Especially Zig-like comptime metaprogramming sounds cool. Great podcast episode!

Elon Musk gutted the federal government, dismantled key institutions, and cut off food and medicine to some of the poorest people on the planet.

By leaving DOGE, he’s trying to restore his reputation and rescue his struggling businesses. He should never be allowed to recover.
Elon Musk’s reputation must be beyond rehabilitation
It's time to end the myth of his genius once and for all

PostgreSQL, the open source database that continues to get better, is introducing oauth support. This should help with database automation and hopefully bring us one step closer to moving away from static credentials and copying usernames and passwords around. www.postgresql.org/about/news/p...

Inside you there are two wolves. One is active, the other one is on hot standby and becomes active if the first one fails or is taken down for maintenance. Add more wolves as necessary for increased redundancy load balancing. A quorum badger can be added for environments with multiple active wolves.

Flow state helps me recover from my work.

I do a ton of context shifting in day to day, within work and out of it, to help my family or my org where I’m most needed.

Flow state on the weekend- coding, playing games, making things- this recharges me.

PSA: remember it's important to lock github actions to an immutable commit hash so that the node.js script that fetches and executes a shell script from a random attacker-controlled URL cannot change 💪

The problem with most machine-based random number generators is that they’re not TRULY random, so if you need genuine randomness it is sometimes necessary to link your code to an external random process like a physical noise source or the current rate of US tariffs on a given country.

How are people using OIDC with kubectl or other Kubernetes frontends? Do you expect your client to direct you to a login page and back, or do you expect to manually supply the ingredients for a token refresh (like initial ID token, refresh token, etc.) to the client?
