There are many things that can be said about Sir David, but the one thing that comes to mind immediately is he was a teacher.
I never failed to learn something from every program I watched him in, narrate or produce.
The amount of people he taught like that is mind blowing.

🎣 After Brexit: Empty promises
Fishing was meant to be one of the big wins.
Instead, it’s another industry gutted by lies.

Has Brexit fixed anything?

Rupert Murdoch is responsible for both Sky and Fox. His NewsCorpse as it’s called here is a toxic cancer on democracies worldwide.

Aussies are possibly generally better educated and less gullible than their US brethren.
Never been more proud of Aussies. I was worried. Right-wing propaganda is strong in Australian media, but fewer and fewer people believe it. Wish we could get rid of SKY "news" (the Aussie version of FOX).

The Coalition's campaign was a clear failure says @alankohler.bsky.social:

"Australians saw through it and dealt with Peter Dutton as if he were Donald Trump."

I'd only disagree with the headline:
Trump didn't 'trespass' on the LNP campaign; Dutton invited him in.

First Canada, then Australia: Trump is now toxic for conservatives everywhere
Australians saw through the Coalition's attempt to have it both ways and dealt with Peter Dutton as if he was Donald Trump.
