This is terrifying in America. ICE agents are showing up masked—these abductions must stop. If you’re going to detain someone, show your face, present a warrant, and proper ID. Mohsen Mahdawi of White River Junction, Vermont was illegally detained by ICE during what was supposed to be the final step in his citizenship process.
Mr. Mahdawi, a legal resident of the US, must be afforded due process under the law and immediately released from detention.

The Agriculture Department has axed two programs that gave schools and food banks money to buy food from nearby farms and ranchers. Roughly $660 million that schools and child care facilities were counting on to purchase food has been canceled.
