Good Morning Caroline. One heck of a week for a number of reasons but have made it to the High Peak for a week. Hopefully by Wed I will have completed all my elf/Granny projects so the remainder of the year will be more restful.

I will hold you all close.

Thanks Rob, all are home now and thankful for that. Still thinking of your family and your new addition.

Far from “cancelling Christmas”, the move away from a 1 hour, one off event to a whole season of events is quite the opposite.

Shall we have a look at what’s happening you *can* do in Sheffield this Christmas…

There's a similar problem in the UK where "cost efficiency" calculations for vaccines are done extremely well technically, but the Government simply doesn't value the health benefits very highly (low £ per QALY) so we get lower coverage. I pay for a flu jab but that's a barrier for many.

I will be navigator so have my trusty pack of cards with info re charging for all routes/destinations and a new map book with each one marked. Taking no chances when the gismos fail.
Looks like we will be stopping at McDonalds a lot.

Oh heck my brain has taken a walk - sorry Caroline.

I’m finding the need to cook/bake regularly hard going as it takes most of the carer time. But my diet is the best it’s been in 4 years and still trying more reintroductions so hoping it will continue. Body appears to like it too.

I find chargefinder.com good and between us we have tried them all to check info. The High Peak is very badly served and the cottage has no charger so planning trips around charging.

Who thought that the industry doing their own thing was a good idea?
ChargeFinder - Charging stations for electric cars (EV)
Find charging stations with a simple search or browse the map. Real-time availability, pricing, and other useful information for 100 000+ EV chargers.

Roofers have been reporting for at least 2 years that solar panels are cheaper than tiles. About time we had real long term plans. Giving a grant for buying an electric car, poor charging provision and planning more tax is absolute twaddle.

Morning Hilary and all. Another day of jobs and bread making. One more item to make and have completed my batch cooking quest for a few weeks.
Trying electric charger apps and interested in those locations that are never used or simply have a ?
Enjoy the day.

8) According to Hughes it's no coincidence that sociology and anthropology are less prestigious and get less funding.

Psychology isn’t prioritised for what it is good at, but for what it is bad at. It is bad at studying privilege and unpicking political causes of problems.
