Morning Caroline and all. Finally heard my alarms but that means lights out at 9.30. A day of sewing ribbon to mittens and working out a name tag. Also embroidering a cushion cover with silver stars.
Pictured are the baby blanket and newborn hat now delivered.
Have a good day.

Fresh out of the oven. Free from most dodgy ingredients (#MCAS) and low carb cinnamon muffins topped with a hazelnut.
Recipe from Sugar Free Londoner.

Morning Guy and all. Late but can’t be sorry as sleep is precious. Help due to finish off bulb planting and a pot refresh so 🤞 no rain. WIPS complete so now pattern adjustment maths to tackle and to find my carefully stored pieces of denim for a jacket.
Have a good day.

Morning Rob and all. Slept through all alarms so that is weird. Have workman coming for outside jobs in the rain - what happened to a sunny week of 18 deg?
Covid jab today and sewing up tiny crocheted hats.
Have a good day.

For interest here is my tiny EeZeeGo folding wheelchair that I want to make more visible, mainly to drivers.
I will work on a florescent back to the chair but want to know what others have used successfully.

Morning Guy and all ORCs. Feels like another day of complete rest recovering from the little ‘gift’ passed on whilst away.
Wasn’t up to watching Chelsea yesterday so maybe today.
Here is the book cushion the granddaughter now has. Many of your cat photos led to this 🙂

The grey days of autumn and winter have been hard.
This was my view yesterday when picking up a tool from under the work table.

I can share a project now it has been received. A Tomten book cushion.

Here is the current project that requires magnification and a day light bulb, but getting there. Pausing for breakfast.
The next section involves free motion quilting (on the machine) so that will keep me busy.

These were quick to make.

Not sure who I tag to raise this this issue.
This is my feed pretty much every day. Can you fix this?

A productive day at last working on a project that have been looking forward to. Corrected a patchwork maths mistake and have cut out with no mishaps. A 1/4” sashing in places which is not ideal but the project needs the colour pop and squaring up.Very pleased after over a month of wall staring.

Trying to get going on this piece, not too bad as short rows but must pay attention. But may just resort to ginger tea drinking whilst watching Threads, Simpsons, the Chelsea Detective and the sky.

Hat that needs a few more rows to be big enough.

Yes in the UK where just under 2 teaspoon or 10g is said to be the norm. But we POTSies laugh at such ideas and add salt to everything including my hot chocolate.

Good grief this was hard to post. 5 mins of turning device on/off to get it to comply. Now when adding Alt Text the save button is obscured by the keyboard 🤦🏼‍♂️

Hexie update:
Nearly there. Hope to be basting the quilt to finish in early 2024 but I make plans, everyone laughs and I have to go back to bed.
Maybe this time.

Morning. Just surfaced and opened my first gift. I see many hot chocolates in my future.

I managed a holiday after a BP issue threatened to keep me at home: a lovely MCAS friendly cottage in the High Peaks. Watching sunrise over the valley from the sofa was a highlight.
Fantastic autumn colour all around.

Morning!
Exciting development in quilt tales: I now have 6 large pieces to sew together. Papers remain in the hexies to provide support until the patchwork is complete. Bed might be the best place for this job as the sections need to be supported whilst sewn.

This is what happens when I click on a photo to expand it.

Writing anything here is painful: I still can barely see what I type. First photo is landscape and second portrait. Not sure how to contact support but will be largely reading without comment still.
