Seems like my first album of the year is ELO's Eldorado (1974) 😖 sadly I don't have the vinyl, but that's never stopped me before! This is a beautiful album so far, with an overwhelming orchestral influence with I really appreciate 😌

Renaissance - Ashes Are Burning (1973)
A pretty seminal work by Renaissance imo, this album harbors some of their bigger hits, including *Can You Understand* and *Carpet of the Sun*. While not my favourite of their albums, it's still an amazing record from an amazing band!

This was one of the first double LPs I ever picked up personally. Before it I had only really listened to Focus' debut self-titled, but the relaxing and sometimes strange instrumental mood kept pulling me back in for more!
