Merge shapes into one smooth form?
Use VDB Combine in Houdini. It fuses volumes and blends edges into a single soft surface, great for clouds, rocks, or organic modeling.

Set up a simple Voronoi fracture in Houdini:

Start with a grid or any model, scatter few points, the Voronoi node splits the grid into natural cell-like patterns.

This method can be used to mimic cracks in mud or even the patterns on a giraffe’s skin 🦒

Procedural tip:
Don’t model one rock, create a system that can make 100's variations.

Think rules and system, not one.
Then scatter points → randomize scale/rotation → instance assets.

Need your objects to follow a curve?
PolyFrame is the trick.

Use it to generate tangent (N) along a curve
Perfect for procedural rails, fences, or domino setups

Curve → Resample → PolyFrame (tangent=N) → Copytopoints.
