Last Tuesday, I was set to give a talk on 'climate change in the Northeast' at a retirement home but had to cancel due to hourly job threats.
After nearly two weeks of overwhelming uncertainty, today it happened. I was fired from my dream of working at NOAA. I'm so sorry to everyone also affected.

They are getting as close a possible to withdrawing from the UNFCCC without withdrawing, but I am not sure about the reasons. Legally it is unclear, but most likely Trump could withdraw without Senate approval - www.climatechangenews.com/2024/11/04/l...

På 40 år så har utslipp av klimagasser globalt bare gått ned ved store kriser. Vil verden klarer å få utslippene i å gå ned i gode tider også ? Jeg håper inderlig det!
