Never mind the absurdity of the idea of being a writer who doesn't write -- you're now a "writer" who "writes" using STOLEN material. What an insult. What an act of disrespect toward those who came before -- those who did the work, who developed a voice, who learned their craft.

"I want to be a writer who doesn't write" is just such absurd, weak, lazy shit. Do the work. The work is clarifying. You just want to push a button and have a machine excrete content -- content formed by digesting the work of the *actual* writers who came before you.

I get why techbros and their ilk like gen-AI: artists and writers to them are just an obstacle to be bypassed. But I'll never get an author/artist/musician who uses it. "I want to be a writer." No you don't. You fetishize ideas but hate the work. You don't respect the craft or its practitioners.

Wie weit dieses Land nach rechts gerückt ist erkennt man auch daran, dass es in der ersten halben Stunde fast nur darum ging, wer besser und mehr abschieben kann. Und sich beide stritten, wer besser darin wäre. Krass. Und der ÖRR macht mit. #Kanzlerduell #Duell
