The notion that Europeans live in a repressive anti-free-speech hellscape because Twitter got fined is so funny to me.
I feel like all those LA residents who kept being told by dumb fucks in states halfway across the country that their city was a lawless flaming apocalypse that needed liberation.

I agree that we should not judge Farage solely on the racist things he said when he was a kid. We should also judge him on the racist things he has done with the entire rest of his life.

I found 2024 incredibly frustrating. Because I (and lots of other people) kept explaining that the fiscal position of all parties was literally impossible but broadcast (in particular) was never willing to go that far.
The fact that in both 2019 and 2024, the winning party did so with a set of manifesto promises that could not be kept and dissolved upon contact with actual office is something that as an industry we should be much more bothered by than we are.

Dunno mate, if you're earning that much I feel like you're probably enjoying life a lot more for getting up in the morning than someone who isn't paying that rate of tax.
