I got this cool lil notebook from one of my favorite bands, Sculpture Club, and it has all the tabs and chords for their second album.

I’m trying not to be a hater these days but I inadvertently ended up in a fashioncore show and it was no better than it was 20 years ago. Nostalgia is a poison.

I’m so hyped for this new album. “Come In” is a 10/10 for me. No matter how many times I listen to it I’m just awestruck by the songwriting.
Six years after releasing the emo cult classic 'Come In,'
Weatherday will finally return with new album 'Hornet Disaster' in March.

Hear new songs "Angel" and "Heartbeats" and read our exclusive interview with project mastermind Sputnik:

“This is the best album ever made.” “This album has made me fall in love and break my heart.” “I can’t listen to this album without feeling like crying.” “This album is so peak bro.”

Check out this cool new podcast/video series that covers the Indianapolis DIY punk scene and the creative lives of DIY musicians. I believe that as American life becomes more dystopian, DIY music will be increasingly important for cultivating real human relationships and creativity.
In this week’s podcast Giauna speaks on finally breaking free from feeling like she had to do "the jazz thing" because of her degree. She talks about letting go of those self-imposed rules and diving into all kinds of bands – everything from hardcore punk to klezmer to J-pop in these last few years.

7.5 years ago I got a job that doubled my income. I became much more economically stable. It’s wild to see that added security erode away with inflation. Idk how people are even getting by. We’re living in a powder keg
can anyone tell me if the economy is good

Police in Alabama shot and killed a 16-year-old boy in his own home during a no-knock raid in the middle of the night.

Body camera footage allegedly shows Randall Adjessom raising his hands and backing away just before an officer opened fire.

RIP

I’ve got a life threatening medical condition that puts me through severe physical agony and insurance won’t cover my treatment.

CEO’s, like that dead monster from United, profit explicitly from my continued suffering. My death is baked into their quarterly appraisals.

I have an hour commute and listen to audiobooks (about communism and anti-imperialism) and every one gets me more fired up. I’m approaching 40 and vibrating rn. Things have to change. I can’t pass this off for my kids to deal with

I also worked at a UHC company. A high level executive told our group they wanted to carve up peoples insurance into piecemeal plans. “We’ll make them pay more for less and we’ll all make a shitload of money.”

He thought this was a rousing, inspiring speech. Yes, I quit pretty soon after.
