If you look at UK health pages, many NHS & other “official” pages, there are vast numbers of references to the Electronic Medicines Compendium (eMC).

www.medicines.org.uk

The impression is that the eMC has Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) for all UK medicines. And that is where we should look.

The fact that I've had my Amazon account for 23 years doesn't count! (Yes - I can see history that far back.)

Unfortunately, Amazon is the only current UK source for what I want.

Of course the government should stop using it!
X is a radicalisation machine that pushes people into angry extremism, peddles disinformation and conspiracy theories and is run by an egomaniacal lunatic who threatens civil war on our streets and wants to trash our democracy.
It does nothing but harm.
So, yes. Government should stop using it.
🔉What dangers does X pose to our democracy? And should the government stop using it?

Good to hear yesterday from @sundersays.bsky.social and @petergeoghegan.bsky.social on the immense risk of X as it ignores legal obligations and its owner tries to influence UK politics.

Yesterday I was stopped for a few minutes during some very heavy rain and took some photos through the windscreen. Had wiped just before starting photos. No image manipulation except sticking them together.

The effect on visibility was dramatic.

Sky is owned by US-based Comcast, largest shareholders include Vanguard Group, BlackRock.

CMA must block the takeover. No one must own more than one major media outlet. Need diversity and competition.

Today, Nigel Farage and many Westminster politicians want to tear up the laws that protect our basic human rights.

Everyone can #swim!
I would like to make a suggestion to all people who cannot swim and to all those who have small children. I think it is helpful if we all know and understand a few physical facts, e.g. that humans basically float when they have inhaled.
Here comes my thread:
Ich möchte allen Menschen, die nicht #schwimmen können und allen, die kleine Kinder haben etwas nahelegen.

Ich denke, es ist hilfreich, wenn wir alle ein paar physikalische Gegebenheiten wissen und vertanden haben, z.B. dass der Mensch ganz grundsätzlich schwimmt, wenn er eingeatmet hat.

He doesn’t fit their narrative 🤷🏼‍♂️
