So, I think it's time I begin, in detailed specifics, talking about the mess that is Unbound / Boundless as a book publisher, in essence stealing most of a years royalties from me and many other authors, as a result of poor financial decisions, and legal BS.

Progress is still... Progress-ing, slowly, on the novel draft. I work in a field that's been heavily impacted by the tariff situation, so work has been pretty busy.

Much shame about falling behind on #novelember prompts. Was incredibly demotivated by structural story revisions I wanted to do. Just had my first writing sessions where I finished with less words than I started. Will probably try to catch up on them either tonight or tomorrow.

There are a lot of excerpts I've liked from the second draft so far, but in terms of "single line," absolutely has to go to "I just look like that." Being a succubus kinda sucks/rocks, depending greatly on your preferences

I'm not sure. I sort of just... Did? My mother's an author and I've been obsessed with storytelling ever since I was a kid. Taking several literature classes in college definitely helped me appreciate, well, literature though.

Can't believe I almost forgot. There are a lot of little satisfying things but more than anything I'm obsessed with being able to tell a compelling story of evocative experience. The kind that sticks with people, the ear worm of the mind. That's it, really.
