Progress is still... Progress-ing, slowly, on the novel draft. I work in a field that's been heavily impacted by the tariff situation, so work has been pretty busy.

I was gonna post something about my progress today but I'm way more amused by the AI generated "summary" that Google loves so much.

Word count: 28.1K exactly (still have yet to write most of ch. 1)
There are a lot of excerpts I've liked from the second draft so far, but in terms of "single line," absolutely has to go to "I just look like that." Being a succubus kinda sucks/rocks, depending greatly on your preferences

I shouldn't be allowed to name any more scenes

Also forgot to mention a progress update. Act 1 is finally done enough that I can focus more on act 2 (I still have not rewritten chapter 1)

I've been really bad about keeping track of my wordcount this #Novelmber. I think I've written about 10k? :P

1903 words down on the second draft tonight. The total wordcount has already almost doubled from a few days ago. Here's my favorite snippet from today's WIP materials.

My greatest wish is for me to be the top poster and everyone reading to be the bottom poster. Confusion, disgust, intrigue.

I'm actually so evil at myself for leaving this project sitting for months right at the start of a quote. What was she going to say, past me? What was I not cooking?
