🤡 Brexiteers now reduced to defending their brexit shitshow with

“Don’t blame us - blame the people in power.”

But they chose the policy, set the red lines, poisoned the debate, and made the promises.

Correct - Russian population is 14-15% Muslim - and it's a land of massive ethnic and cultural diversity.

Putin apologists don't understand it in the slightest.
This is not true at all.

Russia is far more Muslim than most of Europe and North America, and that has nothing to do with why people hate Russia.

People hate Russia because it is an imperialist dictatorship that invades, rapes, and commits genocide against its neighbors

The results of privatisation:
- Rundown water, rail, bus, energy and mail services
- £200billion of taxpayers money paid into
the offshore accounts of millionaire shareholders
UK public has paid £200bn to shareholders of key industries since privatisation.

In public ownership that would have gone into infrastructure, lower bills.

Privatisation delivered low investment, high bills, no tax on dividends to foreign investors.

No end to nightmare without public ownership.

Here I am with Reform councillor Andrew Harrison, who was one of a group of people fined over £1m for employing illegal workers. Like all good patriots, he hates immigrants, apart from the ones he can exploit for profit.

An elegant and splendlidly contemptuous swatting of the horribly contemptible and profoundly dishonest Farage - and a very good dig at Farage's Trumpian "lowest grade presenter" jibe at Ms Barnett for skewering him so effectively.

Well done, Alan Rusbridger!

Even ordinary racists at Farage’s school considered him a super-racist.

Think about that.

What in Farage’s background had triggered such an unprecedented level of hatred of those who were different from him?

Anyone noticed how UK media is a lot less obsessed with Farage’s alleged antisemitism than Corbyn’s alleged antisemitism?

Odd that.

I only recently listened to this extraordinary 10 part podcast - Sergei and the Westminster Spy Ring by @peterjukes.bsky.social and @carolecadwalla.bsky.social . It’s gripping, chilling, and deeply disturbing. The facts of Russian intrusion into UK politics laid bare, in horrifying fashion.
Rory Stewart and Alistair Campbell @alastaircampbell2.bsky.social spell out what needs to happen - the same demand we’ve made for years.

We need a real, independent inquiry 🧵

Independent journalists do a great job but the public must help.
