Canada better start planning.

Tariffs - threatened or real - will mean:
-More expensive drugs, medical devices & equipment
-Glitches in the supply chain
-Shortages of essentials

Life as a patient is about to get tougher.

As Tariffs Begin, What Will They Do To Drug Prices And Availability?
The American public lacks transparency regarding the origin of their medications, and the assumption that their drugs come from domestic producers is largely inaccurate.

The pandemic is NOT over

...so WHY is 🇨🇦Public Health Agency NOT posting this information?

A: Because the provinces & territories REFUSE to share their public health info, even though it's EASILY ANONYMIZED

A good bit of background as to why Canada needs to take this stuff seriously.
One of the most formative experiences of my young life was this: when I was ten years old, my dad went on sabbatical to a research university in Erlangen, Germany.

We went to German schools. I learned enough German to understand and interact with my peers. We took German buses to school.

My latest, on the importance of thinking ahead, in line with Trump’s rapidly worsening behaviour: we need to be prepared to respond, not to what Trump has done to us to date, but to what he’s likely to do to us in future
Opinion: Brace yourselves: whatever crazy, awful things Trump may have done to date, it’s only going to get worse
The world has never before been faced with such a threat. The United States has handed the nuclear codes to a madman, a criminal, a would-be dictator and a moron
