I’m starting to think the USA we saw in movies was all just pretend.
As a Canadian, I heard about how America's 'checks and balances' protect them from tyranny since I was a child.
We learned from US TV that Americans would fight tooth and nail to preserve their democracy and their constitution.
So it's weird to watch them just roll over to a pair of con-men.

I don't think many Americans realize that the American flag usually flies alongside of our own. I think removing and recording it will send a message. Do I like Canadians booing of the U.S. anthem? Not so much. But maybe it is time to be less polite.
