Last September I made the decision to move back to Southern California and although it uprooted the security I had built for myself in my 20s I don’t regret my decision.
I’ll probably be busting my ass until I’m 35 to pay everything off but it beats feeling stagnant in a mid sized city.

I’m not Christian nor did I grow up with any Christian influence but I loved Veggie Tales as a kid. Had no idea it was religious until much later.

Had a 2 hour conversation with some family members who were not seeing eye to eye. After the conversation both parties stepped away feeling heard and validated.

As this music community on Bluesky grows I’d love to see more friendly competitions and contests. I always enjoyed that on the old bird app. I never won any but I had fun with the challenges.

I make music, I listen to a lot of music.
Growing up my mom had probably 500+ CDs. I listened to all of it and eventually starting getting into bands and genres she didn’t listen to.
By the time I was in high school we would talk music and it helped with my knowledge of musicology big time.
