It's weird that the Globe has used a different font than its regular one for the headlines in its Report on Business cover story, making it look like it's "partner content" even though it's not.

It’s really important that #Vancouver’s Downtown Business Association, who were originally against bike-lanes, are now among their most vigourous supporters, because of ACTUAL EVIDENCE that they’re better for downtown business than any street parking they replaced.

Safe bike-lanes mean business.

We really need a constitutional amendment to limit presidential pardon power even if it is only possible to pass it after Trump’s term. The founders obviously never envisioned any president using it this brazenly and corruptly while remaining impervious to impeachment.

Still really bothered by this. I love the way Queen's Park was redone recently, with a bit of low key elegant European park style combined with Canadian tree park. We don't need a lot of parks like that but it's good to have one.

Let's remember that it was a previous extremely wealthy Lieutenant Governor, Hal Jackman, who brought King Eddie on a horse to Queen's Park. So getting rid of it is like the Westons messing with a rival oligarch.

Doughnought! Going back to the original.

(Donut really just means both parts of the original have now been equally condensed)

I was quite old before I realized the name was literally derived from a "dough zero."
