I get that writers wanted to replace NaNoWriMo with something else, but why did we stick with November???
November was always a terrible month to have a writing challenge.
We should have used the death of NaNo to switch to one without a major holiday and increased demands on workers.

I was thrilled to get through promo for Long Live Evil in fine form! …then I vanished for the whole winter… Post-chemo me CAN do the things pre-chemo me could, but it’s as if I used to owe the bank of mum-&-dad (eh maybe pay them back) & now owe a loan shark (high interest, maybe they break my legs)

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.
