From 1990-2019, acute hepatitis B infections reported among children and teens fell 99 percent. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/16/w...
Breaking: After contentious debates and three failed attempts at a vote, a federal vaccine committee decided on Friday to end the decades-long recommendation that all newborns be immunized at birth against hepatitis B.

FIFA, soccer’s historically corrupt governing body, will name the winner of its first-ever “FIFA Peace Prize" today. Trump is widely expected to win, showing the moral vacuum of all concerned. A legitimate organization would move the World Cup out of the U.S. because of the abuse of immigrants.

As billions of fans around the world tune in to watch the World Cup draw on Friday, they’ll also have the opportunity to watch FIFA president Gianni Infantino present a new, somewhat puzzling, award.

The worst part about the boat strikes - regardless of who ordered what and besides the ultimate tragedy of lives lost - is they’re forever a stain on the professionalism and dignity of the United States military.

They’re an insult to every American who ever sacrificed to do the right thing.

Brexit knocked 8% off GDP. There are no growth opportunities for the UK economy that comes anywhere near rejoining the customs union and single market. To ignore this when you have the power to do something about it, solely because you are scared of the gutter press , is gross criminal negligence.

Government ministers now don't even mention housebuilding as an important policy.

Perhaps because it has completely collapsed - in 2022 London started 25,658 affordable homes - this year it's down roughly 90% on that figure.

There are good reasons for this, not least the incredible failures...
Rightly lots of debates about growth this weekend - rightly because it was low productivity growth that saw wages entirely flatline during the 2010s.

Honestly the completely weird Budget coverage is mostly a sign of how pretty much any attack can stick when you’re unpopular enough.

Of course Rachel Reeves didn’t brief the full Cabinet on Budget details weeks in advance! No chancellor ever does! It would immediately leak!
