I know a lot of people are saying TikTok is unusable now, and I agree, but IMO it’s the overwhelming amount of engagement farming “if you skip this video, bad thing will happen” shit polluting the algorithm that’s become the most unbearable.

I’m not trying to say they are incorrect, or lacking in substance, but do the thousands of people that just post “we’re cooked” or “we’re doomed” in the comments of every single post every single day realize how fucking unhelpful they are in this moment? It is so unproductive.
