A perfectly timed exposé of the Russian Orthodox Church’s role in Putin’s influence operations in the West & military operations against Ukraine - though I doubt the useful idiots inviting these dubious characters into the White House to spread lies about Ukraine will read it, unfortunately.
OMG 😳 Last week I wrote about Russia’s Orthodox Church being an arm of intel (part of my new series on the far right) and just read that the White House will meet clergy with ties to the Russian Orthodox Church this week thehill.com/policy/inter...

as a reporter, the part of this that i’ve simply never understood is how the next person to ask a question when he does something like this doesn’t simply repeat the question that set him off. it’s not just solidarity with your colleague, it’s an important question that remains worth asking
I’m not going to pretend it’s easy to say something in the moment when you witness the president do this and you’re aboard Air Force One with all the uniformed officers and secret service and fancy wood accents, but this is really an instance where you should. people.com/donald-trump...

People are rising up and teaching each other how to resist and fight back, and it’s working.

And yeah, we’re seeing a whole lot of stupid ICE agents stumbling around like they own the place.

There has never been a clearer example of the fact that we do not have a legislature in the United States right now. Trump tells them to vote no, so they all vote no. Then Trump changes his mind and they all change their votes. That is autocracy. Vote them out!

How rich white English people organise society:

- vote for low taxes
- refuse to tax billionaires
- pay criminals to dump your own garbage into your own drinking water
- complain about foreigners
- confiscate jewellery from refugees fleeing war
🚨 SHOCKING 🚨

A HUGE illegal waste dump has appeared between the A34 and River Cherwell, linked to organised crime.

Every rainfall risks toxins washing into the river.

We’re calling on the Environment Agency & Cherwell Council to act NOW.

Our rivers cannot wait. 👇👇

Covering Trump as a weak, desperate man would be a huge change for the press corps, which still mostly treats him as a masterful bully who can get away with anything.

But there are precedents for the press corps turning on a president who they formerly lionized.
