1. exercise (walk a mile or more, bike 5 miles or more, lift 2000+ pounds over reps, swim, or play volleyball) at least 100 days this year
2. get PADI certified and go on at least six dives
3. get good at cooking two large-format dinners I’ve never made before and make them for friends

A few thoughts about Hanukkah:
1. It is mostly a modern, secular-Jewish winter holiday that has been elevated so that Jews have a holiday that lines up around Christmas. Not a huge deal, but it possesses relatively little significance on a religious level.
