cottage pie ingredients are turkey, gravy, mirepoix, fennel, blanched green beans, sage, parsley, thyme, paprika, half a stick of butter, and mashed potato over top

I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be great but also the brisket pie last night was outstanding (brisket, peas, carrots, potatoes, mornay)

thanksgiving has been pretty good on the food front. tomorrow I get to figure out what ought to go into a turkey cottage pie, lmk if you have any good ideas

The top crust of the pie is a golden brown, with a design carved into the top to vent moisture. A slice has been cut so the filling is visible.

Movies definitely misled me as to how violent the early morning walk up here would be
