NEW: ALA is going to court to defend the #Erate program and its funding mechanism, the Universal Service Fund (USF).

E-Rate provides discounts to libraries & schools for broadband service, equipment, and other connectivity needs.

We fought to enact E-Rate. We will fight to keep it.
