The urge to drop out of law school & just be a decent homicide detective is strong today. I ALWAYS have something due or hanging over my head. Trial prep, of course, but now endless school stuff. I could just garden & cook & exist…except I can’t do that. never could. Ugh & ugh.

The people who lost children and other loved ones in the Texas floods are owed honest answers from officials. They should be told why flash flood warnings issued hours earlier were not conveyed to people in the path of the water. They don’t need more prayers from politicians. They need answers.

First time ever being positive for Covid because like an idiot I got brazen with family visiting and didnt mask myself inside buildings. Lesson learned!! I’m feeling so miserable…🤦♀️😩

July 4th went to the local protest in my area. A few weeks ago there were THOUSANDS there, yesterday barely 50. WTH?!?!
But that said we protested peacefully even though more of the Trumpers slithered out to yell obscenities at us and flip us off. 🤷🏼♀️
