Back in the 70's in the San Diego area, some of the flower field owners would pay their migrant laborers on Sunday. But Saturday night they would call immigration and get the workers deported with no pay. They actually named a YMCA building after one of these jerks.
I’m sure Trump’s new plan of allowing employers in certain industries to decide whether their workers will get deported or not will lead to lovely working conditions and fair wages.

At least one of the car fires yesterday was attributed to officer throwing something into pile of trash (flashbang?) that sparked a fire. Also an ice SUV ran partially over a protestor and then hit a bike as it sped off. Hit and run- criminal!

Most likely the reason many cover their faces is so they can’t be identified as proud boys or any of the other Jan 6th rioters who were pardoned by Trump and enlisted in his personal militia.

With the shifting regulatory climate (i.e., antivax ratfuckery), Moderna has withdrawn their application for their eagerly anticipated COVID-flu combo vaccine. This vaccine offered better protection than getting each shot separately.

The fact that they would still give Covid boosters to people over 65 and people with preconditions means they know the boosters work and are needed. There is literally no justification for taking them away from everyone else besides just being huge dicks
