Disappoint them.

Yes! I've been saying. They have to integrate all the outages into the same story. Well done, Boston Globe, for doing that here.
Democrats, rather than finding a single narrow issue and focusing on it (e.g., egg prices), you need to chase EVERY Trump outrage.

They all support the core point: Trump is pursuing a chaotic far-right overthrow of existing US government, trying to destroy our way of life.

The new general counsel for OPM—the office issuing all those deranged memos—is Andrew Kloster, a self-described “raging misogynist” with a public history of racist comments and a temporary restraining order for domestic violence who most recently worked for Matt Gaetz.

A five-inch chunk of the metal plate (the part with teeth) at the bottom of the Back Bay station Amtrak/CR platform track 1/3 down escalator just broke off and jammed the escalator to a halt. That was exciting. @universalhub.com

When the votes are all counted, Trump will likely end up with the narrowest margin of victory since 2000.

Important to keep that in mind when you hear Trump and his bootlickers in the GOP and the media talk about him having a mandate. He doesn't and Democrats need to remember it and act like it.
Column | What the numbers actually say about the 2024 election
In what is likely to be the narrowest margin of victory since 2000, Trump probably benefitted from who stayed home.

Call your local and state officials and demand they not cooperate with Trump's deportation plans.

Call your national reps and demand they do everything they can to obstruct Trump's inevitable efforts to denaturalize people and destroy birthright citizenship.
Stephen Miller in an interview this past week talked about mass deportations including naturalized citizens. Unlike the magical thinking among Trump voters that such plans never pertain to them - I am aware 'deporting naturalized citizens' is a plan that would include me, and many of my students
I think people (as with most policies) underestimate how many people abolishing birthright citizenship would affect.

For example, it would affect me and my siblings. It could also affect my kids, depending on specifics. It would affect the majority (not an exaggeration) of my students.

If someone is trying to troll you, I strongly advise scrolling their account. There are chaos agents trying to break in here. The account I showed y'all who was complaining about pronouns was also repeatedly trying to argue the election was stolen from Kamala. Report these folks, don't engage.
Have been seeing a lot more accounts that are playing both sides super hard and just in general sewing chaos so I think people need to gear up this is going to get really weird

So the dems really were cooked from the start. Nothing they could've said or done would've changed the outcome of the election. Not when you have voters who saw a leopard on the ballot, knew that it pledged to eat their faces all day, and voted for it anyway.
