One of the worst things that we've done as a society is push the idea that all viewpoints are valid and up for debate. This is legit why so many people think those bullshit jubilee debates are a form of education and not just a way to socially manipulate people into being open to fascism.

With Canada's ER problem that is now in the global public eye, we can't afford to be flippant about preventable infectious diseases like COVID & influenza, because they contribute to surging capacity in ER. Airborne mitigations now
I am positive that severe overcrowding was a major factor in delays to care, and that his prolonged waiting did NOT improve anything in this pt's case.

The institutional response will be to try to blame one single HCW for this tragic outcome...

The people that blew the calls on COVID - laid out below, with extensive citations - are the same people who are getting paid enormous amounts of our money to keep the public educated about how to prepare for H5N1.

But they can't do that without admitting their mistakes - so they'll let people die.
Policy on health is clearly broken - politicized, out of touch, reactive and slow. My recent keynote at the Canadian Biosafety Symposium took a big-picture look at how and why that's happening, and how we can turn things around.

Here's a general-audience version, recorded at the Deep River library.

HOLY SHIT this is unethical and the publisher should pull the book
I have the “In Covid’s Wake” PDF and this section floored me. Here is some of the surrounding content — and citations. The professors cited laundered Twitter Files claims in their discussion of the Murthy v Missouri case — they stuck the *outcome of the case* in a footnote while centering the lies.

Happy holidays!

Don't forget that 'Χmas' (X = Greek Chi) MEANS Christmas, but was the respectful way to speak or write it, rather than using Christos (Christ).

Oh and xmas trees, gift giving, stockings, Dec 25th, Santa all come from "Pagan" traditions and were stolen by the Christian Romans.

Public health care under the BC NDP. Ever wonder why people think the left sucks? One reason is: because it does. Parties and ideologies are what they do. This is what the Canadian left does in power. Barely better than Smith's loons.
Great job, BC Public Health. A+ work all around.
