Just spent 3 weeks in Paris. France is far from perfect but the city and country appear to be working better than the US for most people. Yes there were people who the system was failing but far fewer than here.

Just returned home from Paris. We had a connection in Seattle. After clearing border control we had to go through security. Three TSA agents for everyone. The line was looong. Why only 3 I asked. Because of massive layoffs in TSA.

Why do so many feel like they've fallen behind?
It's not because of immigrants, trans people, the “deep state,” or any other bogeyman trotted out by the GOP.
It's because big corporations and billionaires have rigged markets and siphoned off most of the economy's gains.
