Agree! It’s a reflection on who we are as a country that this man was elected as president. I want to believe we are better than this (far better) but people chose this (expletive deleted) over an amazing woman of color.
This country knowingly put evil in the White House. This great, good, decent country knowingly put someone who is evil in power. Americans knowingly voted for an evil monster. And so to remind you once more - this Trump era has never been about Trump. It’s always been about us, about us as a people.

Republicans in Congress have now voted THIRTEEN times against extending the health care tax credits.

That’s THIRTEEN votes to allow premiums to spike for millions.

Americans are already speaking out in elections across the country—and that momentum will only grow.

I guess we will all be buying organic produce.
The Environmental Protection Agency has approved two new pesticides containing PFAS (“forever chemicals”)—raising serious concerns about their long-term impact on food, water and public health. 🌿🚨 www.washingtonpost.com/climate-envi...
EPA just approved new ‘forever chemical’ pesticides for use on food
Critics warn the EPA’s approvals of new PFAS pesticides could expose more Americans to “forever chemicals” through their food.

Republicans use the "I'm not familiar with that" dodge several times a day now, and if a reporters or anchor isn't ready and willing to shut them down as soon as they try it, that means they're either incompetent at their job or a willing accomplice to the lies.

Either way, never trust them again.
If they pretend they haven’t heard about the story of the day, end the interview right there.

“I’m sorry, Senator, we wanted to get your perspective on this story, but it seems you’re not fully aware of what’s going on.”

If you have a moment, take a look at this clip from President Biden tonight.

Biden is still a leader who’s steady. Sharp. Detailed. Present.

Biden speaks with clarity and purpose, instead of rage, rambling, or whatever the hell #Shit4Brains does.

Listen to your provider’s recommendations for vaccines and not the US Government
Bad framing: ACIP voted to scrap the universal hepatitis B vaccine recommendation for newborns.

Accurate framing: Anti-vax conspiracy theorists appointed to ACIP by Robert Kennedy Jr., who made a fortune as an anti-vax profiteer, voted to expose babies to a preventable, incurable, deadly illness.

My thoughts exactly! That’s why we need to work to ensure they are paying their fair share of taxes!
It's amazing how so many billionaires - who have WAY more money than they could possibly need in 500 lifetimes - REALLY want to avoid paying small slivers of tax money to benefit a common good like social safety services for less fortunate countrymen within the society that made them billionaires.

Our Department of Education, which is helmed by a woman connected to a scandal involving child abuse, who was appointed by a man connected to a scandal involving child abuse, is now refusing to recognize the professions of our country’s mandated reporters of… child abuse.

We’re not going to “fix the Democrats’ brand” by doing TikToks or launching pods. The brand is a direct reflection of our elected officials. If we want to purge our weak branding, we have to purge the weak Dems. I’m looking forward to a robust primary cycle and new Democrats who know how to fight.

His handlers need to take his electronic devices away and send him to bed at a reasonable time so that he can stay awake while presumably governing as our president.

Agreed. Take note of who he idolizes!
In his decades-long pantheon of bone-chilling statements, this one’s hard to top.
Trump: "I stick up for Viktor Orban. Not a lot of people do because in many cases they're jealous. They wish they did what he did. They would have no problems if they did what he did."

it's time for journos to start asking Johnson meta questions

"Speaker, on 5 occasions last week you said 'I haven't seen it' when asked about news events w/big implications for public policy. Do you ever read the news, and do you agree it's problematic for the Speaker to be so woefully uninformed?"
