I never thought I would feel emotional catharsis when finding a recipe from 2010 and and only having to scroll half the page before the actual recipe. Pure bliss.

Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard. look at En Garde! as an influence for more modern dueling combat, I think many people would appreciate a reboot of the "Adventures" style of games as more narrative driven, smaller titles to experiment with the world

I may have gotten my wife into #Lancer, which is a pretty substantial feat considering she is very particular about new TTRPG systems when there is so much we have, & so many we have tried out, and she is even more particular when it comes to anything mecha. Horus hooked her, combat enthralled her.

The legal GoFundMe fundraiser is here. I'm hoping this thing blows up big enough to ensure this never happens to anyone else, anywhere, ever again.

While I have the time - and in light of the show cancelation - I'm listening to The Wheel of Time audiobooks again. It's a shame, even if it wasn't my ideal adaptation it has a lot of love for the source material. I just hope its incomplete attempt doesn't kill potential future adaptations.

For no reason in particular I am workshopping a set of Genji Armor - specifically based on Final Fantasy XII's version of the armor and accessory - for D&D. For balance purposes I wouldn't dole out pieces of the armor before PC are 14, but I do have a battle harness if they want Counterattack sooner

It's my biggest video yet: A 4,000 year-long 100-minute narrative about how real-life political history has shaped the underlying basic mechanisms of an entire genre of games we take for granted today.

The color scheme of the Switch family of products reminds me of the gradual uniform changes between Star Trek TNG and DS9; I think the design changes are arguably for the better & suit the demographic shift, but there is a charm that is lost in the more sleek and modern aesthetic.

We're talking about yellow paint again? Cool. All I will say is that the best usage of yellow paint in gaming has still been The Stanley Parable Adventure Line. That is all, carry on.

For events like the Steam Awards, I would absolutely love the ability to nominate multiple games for the same category. Especially since it's just for fun and a way to recognize a lot of the games that have been released over the year, let me put two or three games in "Outstanding visual style"

I remembered earlier today that my first experience with League of Legends was for prep on a isekai D&D campaign where I played a gnome artificer who went mad when finding a notebook containing the scribblings of a teenager who liked LoL and had a homunculus called "Viktor Midlane".

Rewatching Star Trek Enterprise is a surreal experience. Not a necessarily bad experience, just surreal. I feel like Enterprise would do well with some kind of sequel series, maybe like the next generation of people who were aboard the Enterprise. I mean that guy who played Chef is kinda interesting

"So let's take it from the top. Like a jazz standard. Play it in our own time. As loud as we dare."

Please check out "El Paso Elsewhere" or @strangescaffold.bsky.social's newest game "I Am Your Beast". Action packed, sharp writing, killer soundtrack. First time seeing the physical copy and poster.
