My FIL went to the ER yesterday morning (~9:30am in an ambulance).
Tonight, no word, yet, on a room. (Still a bed in the hallway.)
This is at Vanderbilt. Normally a hub for medical care in the regiomn, sure (ie, TN, maybe southern KY, etc...). But today including Birmingham.

Houry: I first learned that HHS Sec had changed CDC covid vaccine guidance on X social media posts. CDC scientists have still not seen the scientific data or justification for this change. That is not gold standard science.
