Holy shit. The United States was not invited to the NATO summit on Ukraine in Paris on March 11.

There’s no other meaning:

The United States was just benched for colluding with the enemy.

Instead of ending the trade war on Canada

Trump declared a national emergency-INCREASING tariffs

Which will send prices HIGHER

And cost the US 100,000 jobs

Naturally-the market is down

But don’t panic

Because the GOP controlled House is voting on a bill to cut Medicaid & veterans benefits

Fun isn't your family farm going out of business or your grocery prices being driven up.

All because Trump sold out farmers for his friends at Mar-a-Lago.

existing laws could have been enforced - but never were in a lot of cases due to regulators’ fear of “litigation risk” & political risk. now here we are.
Concerns over Musk’s conflicts of interests grow as he undermines fed. regulators. DOGE has gutted “every aspect of accountability outside of the fed. court system,” says Eric Lipton. Current ethics laws are too “antiquated” to address Musk’s vast entanglements says @kirstengrind.bsky.social #Velshi
How Musk’s Businesses Could Benefit from his work at DOGE
As Elon Musk forges ahead with his work at DOGE and expands his political influence, questions are now mounting over the possible conflicts of interest he and his businesses face. DOGE, which is not an official government body, has targeted dozens of federal agencies–some of which regulate his own companies. They undermine the very systems designed to combat corruption and protect Americans from predatory practices. “Trump dismantled [an] accountability and ethics system that was really built up after Watergate,” notes Eric Lipton, a New York Times investigative reporter who co-authored a recent report outlining Musk’s potential conflicts. “Just about every aspect of accountability outside of the federal court system is gone.” As it stands, there’s currently no system for accountability and ethics monitoring at the federal level, Lipton said. Meanwhile, current conflict-of-interest laws are outdated and ill-equipped to address Musk’s vast business entanglements, according to Kirsten Grind, Lipton’s co-author. “He touches every single agency in some way,” she said.

This is what Trump does -- he posts something outrageous and eventually his base and GOP leaders come to embrace it.
