I wonder how Cliven, Ammon, and Ryan Bundy feel about the right wing of the Republican Party now? Actually, why any rancher or farmer in any state (red or blue) would still want to support this administration is baffling.

More from Justice Eddins on Hawaii Supreme Court, Troubadour with a gavel
NEW: Hawaii's Supreme Court keeps releasing opinions that denounce the U.S. Supreme Court.

The latest? A new ruling that requires the police to record all interrogations from now on.

The author took it as an opportunity to say Hawaii's court will protect due process—while SCOTUS isn't:
Hawaii Supreme Court Expands Rights of Defendants, and Once Again Rebukes SCOTUS - Bolts
Hawaii justices ruled that their state constitution requires police to record interrogations. And they vowed to protect due process for Hawaiians—unlike, they said, the Roberts Court.

Photos of sea shells are a crime. Free speech, is now a crime. However, sending a mob to break into the US capitol, lynch the Vice President, and kill Police? No prob. You can still be elected POTUS. The insurrectionist mob, convicted by a jury of peers, can be pardoned, too

James Comey is under investigation for his ’8647′ Instagram post. What does it mean?
The former FBI director posted — then deleted — a picture of seashells forming "8647." Trump and his allies view it as a call for his assassination, but Comey says he was unaware of that meaning.

Having now watched the footage and interview two of the members who were there, the amount of armed, masked federal agents surrounding three members of Congress and a mayor outside the ICE facility was totally unnecessary; the only possible reason for it was intentional escalation and intimidation.

IMPORTANT: We must fight misuse of the Alien Enemies Act, intended for war time during invasion by another nation, not immigration processing! No warrant! No due process! No hearings! No defense! No record where people are taken!

“Are you worried?” That is always the first question.

“Of course I am worried,” I respond. “The president of the United States considers me an enemy and has promised retribution. I would be an idiot not to be worried. But I am not going to give in. I will continue to fight.”

One small thing. Most of us can do something. Collectively, we are powerful. Big movements martter but this is important, too. Guerilla skirmishes have an impact that differs from war. Trump is “flooding the zone” with lots of things, some quietly, because it works.

Paul Weiss can litigate to bring children back in the mines.
Milbank can challenge clean air rules.
Willkie Farr can lead on spoiling the water.
Skadden is perfect to break the unions.

Shameful all.
