If you're not in therapy and you're struggling with life, I'd highly recommend finding someone you can talk to on a regular basis. It's been one of the best things I've ever done with my life because I used to sit in pubs refusing to deal with the trauma I experienced as a child #CSA #TherapyWorks

Hello! My name is Julia but everyone calls me Ju. I’m a doctor but I gave up my medical career to fight for the NHS. Right now the non-profit I run (EveryDoctor) is running a really important campaign and 102 MPs are involved so far.

Could you possibly help me to reach more people on Bluesky?🤞💙

105 MPs now 😮🌟😮🌟😮
Gosh we’re now engaging with 104 MPs on this crucial EveryDoctor campaign, and I’ve just had a little cry.

104 MPs is the number we worked with during the pandemic to fight for frontline worker protections when our friends+colleagues were dying.

We are so grateful+we’ll fight to keep people safe💙

When someone discloses child sexual abuse please don’t say:

“What exactly did he do?”

Or:

“Are you sure?”

Or:

“It was such a long time ago”

Or:

“You’re wrong”

Or:

“I would have known if that was happening.”

Or:

“It could have been worse”

Or:

“Time to move on”

(Feel free to add…)

If we aren't talking about coercive control we aren't talking about domestic abuse because it's there at the beginning and it's there at the end.

Domestic abuse is about power and control, not physical violence alone.

The leader of the Conservative Party in Japan has said that women should be banned from marrying after 25, should have their uteruses forcibly removed at 30, and should have their education limited after age 18. Why? To increase the birth rate. What in the Handmaid’s Tale?!

Isn't it interesting that rape apologist are often seen criticizing the victims rather than the rapists themselves.

Dude mad because Ellie Wilson is living her full life and not hiding in a basement forever.

And we've been here before. The old capital transfer tax (predecessor to IHT) had no agricultural exemption at all. In 1975 a 30% relief was introduced. The complete exemption we have now was only created in 1992.

The sky did not fall in.
