Thom Tillis caves. I fight.

I’m running for the US Senate to stand up for working families. Let’s get to work.

You might not see it in the mainstream media, but over 10,000 people protested today at Tesla showrooms across the country, another 10,000+ rallied in support of national parks, and more than 1,000 gathered in Vermont to protest Vance’s visit.

Hey, when random guys with no badges and no authority try to grab a protester and drag her away, that's when you put down the phone, get out of your seat, and fucking help her.
During a GOP town hall at Coeur d'Alene High School, Teresa Borrenpohl called out, “Is this a lecture or a town hall?” Witnesses said three unidentified men, who were not wearing badges or ID, then physically removed from her seat by order of the Idaho county sheriff.

Trump is mad because he realized yesterday that he got told off by a woman who he assumed was not powerful.

Clergy. Soft voice. Woman. Oh but power comes in many forms. Disarming these folks is very effective. Love to see it.
Trump exploded in fury at Bishop Marian Budde on Truth Social a little after midnight, calling her a "hater."

As we argue on today's pod, there is nothing MAGA despises more than appeals to common decency and humanity.

I grew up in the 60s/70s. We had dramatic civil unrest. Our best leaders were assassinated. Protests & race riots nationwide. Vietnam. No women’s/minority rights. Natl Guard & cops beating & shooting kids on college campuses. Economic strife, oil embargo’s, inflation. We didn’t give up. Don’t now

Just FYI, administrative warrants (like the ones used by ICE) are not judicial warrants (used by cops, signed by a judge).

You do NOT legally have to open the door for an ICE officer with an administrative warrant *no matter what the ICE officer says.*

Far from Hollywood's wealth, Los Angeles fire survivors feel forgotten
In the close-knit Los Angeles suburb of Altadena, where rows of neat bungalows once nestled in the shadow of the San Gabriel mountains, smoldering ruins and the skeletal frames of burnt out cars now lie.

Conviction isn’t required. Multiple courts have said so. And of course the Supreme Court won’t let this happen. BUT ITS WORTH THE FIGHT. They took an OATH. They are DUTY BOUND to try, and not just lie down and take it. The American people could use a little chutzpah.

pluralism is the foundational insight of liberalism and actually it’s pretty important and good!
A member of the Military Operations Command drops some pure logic:

"you want to worship God or the Devil, it's not our business, we can talk about that on a cup of tea, you convince me, I convince you, whatever. As for the State, it must accommodate for all to live in it"
