I agree with you but I don't think you go far enough on the dynamic. I think the USA political dynamic right now is abusive husband, abused wife, and the public gets to play the role of the kids who don't have the power to leave

I’ve been busting my ass in trauma therapy for the past few years. I’ve learned so much and I feel like it’s helped me view what’s happening through a different lens.

We all need to be cycle breakers, in one way or another.

Things won’t change any other way.

We are a product of our environment. Boomers and early Gen X (our parents!) didn’t do everything right because they were a product of *their* environment.
