The Conservatives' argument, spread across the front of most newspapers this morning, is that the economy is doing better than expected under Rachel Reeves' stewardship and therefore she should resign.
Am I getting this right?

Newmarket MP Matt Hancock gave a £37bn Covid testing contract to Jockey Club director Dido Harding, who subcontracted it to Grand National sponsor Randox, employer of Tory MP Owen Paterson, whose late wife chaired Aintree racecourse. That's how the Tories handled the pandemic.

There’s a task that shouldn’t be left to @bylinetimes.bsky.social alone: The fourth estate has a job to do in defence of freedom and democracy. Are they too keen to report on the chaos of a Reform government (until that time when mass deportations and arrest of “dissidents” begins?) Too late then.

Picture how big the Hoover Dam is. An absolute unit. The Hoover Dam has a power capacity of 2 gigawatts (GW).

The solar farm that the Admin just cancelled could have produces 6.2 GW of power. That's more than 3 Hoover Dams.
SCOOP: The Bureau of Land Management says the largest solar project in Nevada — the Esmeralda 7 mega-farm — has been canceled

The news was quietly dropped via a sudden website update with no public word from any of the companies involved or a statement from the agency

Meanwhile, if you see a clip of me saying the ID card contract has gone to Tony Blair’s son: it hasn’t. That was something I was given to ask about on HIGNFY last night, but turns out to be a false report from the internet. Which is bad news for the fact checkers but good news for social mobility.

Exactly, pity #BBC can’t
I’m old enough to remember when Farage told us only a clean break from Europe would solve this country’s problems and Brexit was the only answer.

10 years on and the impact of that vote is being felt from Lands End to John O’Groats and now that lying cvnt is trying to convince the same people

Vertical rows are the agrivoltaic winner!

“The vertical panels produce slightly less electricity—but with higher value, as generation peaks coincide with morning and late afternoon demand…The crops don't seem to mind the presence of solar panels and they like the wind protection they provide.”
Double harvest: Vertical solar panels and crops thrive side by side
Imagine a field where solar panels and crops coexist—with no trade-off. It sounds like science fiction, but that's precisely what researchers from Aarhus University have now documented in a full-scale...
