There are some woodworkers who will spend 30 minutes setting up a cut on their table saw, risking their safety and that of their materials, rather than use a small hand saw or plane - and then produce inferior results. I do not trust these people.

In the past, many people obeyed the law most of the time because it was the right thing to do, whether the "right thing" is obeying the law or the thing the law represents. Some people obeyed from fear of getting caught and punished. Now, though, parts of that latter group no longer fear being 1/2

Folks, I believe that it is possible for good people to disagree over the Gaza situation. If you are one of those who boo and shout down calls to free hostages, however, you are not one of those good people.

So I'm still catching up: someone fires shots at an ICE facility in Texas, so Trump is sending troops to... Oregon? I think his aim is a bit off. I'd say he was shooting himself in the foot, but he'll probably hit Harry Whittington instead.

Last week, I got a fraud alert from Chase, about my credit card. It was fraud, they cancelled, and started the process for a new card. Today, before I got the card, I got an alert on what seems to be the new number. It seems they have an internal link.

Another #POTA day, but not an easy one. Today I was at US-11589, Delaney Wildlife Management area, activator #5 (so I automatically got on the leader board). It took 2 hours to make 11 QSOs, and I could only get 3 CW contacts despite crowded bands. I had to switch to voice for the other 8. Feh.
